Lauren Hines

STUDENT HOMEOPATH
Lauren has completed a Bachelor in Health Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Coaching and Counselling from Deakin University and has now returned to study with RMDY Academy to become an Advanced Practitioner of Homeopathy.
Lauren has a passion for supporting people to find wellness, whether that be through counselling and mental health supports or through the use of homeopathy.
As a counsellor, Lauren uses a client-centered approach to support her clients with exploring family violence, their identity, and to be empowered to have control in their own life by putting in safe boundaries. Lauren aims to build resilience and coping strategies, particularly for young people, so that they can be mentally strong and overcome any obstacles that arise. Lauren has been providing specific online and phone counselling since April 2020 and has had great success with engaging young people in online platforms through the use of interactive games and activities, narrative therapy, art therapy and talk therapy.
Whilst still a student, Lauren has a great passion for homeopathic supports that comes from her own personal experiences. Lauren engaged with a homeopath after having battled with ongoing, chronic eczema for almost 15 years - where western medicine was only able to suppress the flare up symptoms with ongoing steroid usage. Homeopathy was able to do the thing that western medicine was not able to accomplish - bring her back to complete wellness, without eczema and without the ongoing use of pharmaceuticals. Lauren’s venture into homeopathy comes from a strong believe in this holistic approach to wellness due to a profound personal experience.
